Gun Media and IllFonic have finally announced the release date for the highly anticipated Friday The 13th game adaption.

The game will release on May 26, for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. As of now the game will only offer multiplayer, but the developers are planning for a free update this summer that will include a single player campaign.

When I spoke to Wes Keltner from the Gun Media development team at E3 last summer, he told me the single player portion would offer something similar to what you might get from a Hitman game. At the time a single player campaign was yet to be confirmed for the game, so it’s possible they may be developing something entirely different now.

A new trailer was released alongside the announcement. Check it out below and be on the lookout for our impressions of Friday The 13th when the game releases next month.
