Girlumentary Show Episode 4 – Are Video Game Movies Good or Bad?

We had a crazy week there for a hot minute and should have released an episode last week, but Girlumentary is back with another episode about video game movies... and why the majority of them suck. Covering the gambit from Tomb Raider to Warcraft to the well-received Netflix series, Castlevaina, we discuss what makes it difficult to make a successful video game to film adaptation and what potential upcoming adaptions we would or would not like to see.

Keep up with us each week, give us feedback, and let us know what you want to hear us talk about next.

While waiting for our next episode of Girlumentary, be sure to go on over to our Official Podcast and Duo Reviews and catch their episodes.

Also, Gameumentary recently launched a Kickstater to help us fund our next batch of short documentaries. If you liked our Runic Games doc, please consider becoming a backer.

Once a week, we come together to cover a wide range of topics, from gaming news and trends to in-depth looks at games of the past and present. Soon we will be interviewing women on the podcast who work in the games industry: writers, voice over artists, programmers – you name it. If you are interested in being a guest on our show feel free to contact us!

New episodes will air every Tuesday. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to know when we go live, and subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date with all of our latest content and shows. And, if you are feeling really adventurous, find us on iTunes or SoundCloud and subscribe to Gameumentary there.

Until next week!
