Hello everyone and welcome back to Gameumentary’s Week in Review. We’re still hard at work getting the site prepared for you, but we’re not far now from our January 1st launch! Needless to say, I’m pretty excited to start getting content published.

The past couple weeks have been pretty busy for us. We’re still getting content prepared and setting up new interviews that we really think you’ll absolutely enjoy. We’ve got quite a variety of stuff in the works, which you’ll start learning about more soon. As you may have seen, one of our first features will be one of my first longform articles covering the lack of game studios in the Midwest.

We’re also getting closer and closer to finalizing plans for one of our secret projects. Unfortunately I can’t talk about it yet, but when we have details finalized and the project started, you’ll be the first to know.

I’m still in the process of finishing up my semester at college. If you recall me talking about a massive SEO paper I was finishing up last week, you’ll be happy to know I got a 97/100 on it. I’m incredibly proud of that paper and will certainly be putting it on my resume / portfolio.

Other than getting that done, I haven’t had much time for gaming again this week. I’ve mostly been preparing for finals, and getting a few rounds of Rainbow Six Siege in with my friends when they’re online and available to play. I can’t get enough of the game, and now that Year 2 has been announced…I’m really not sure when I’ll be done playing it.

I know my group of friends all plan on picking up Ghost Recon Wildlands, so that’ll probably be our next game we sink time into. Once Christmas rolls around though, I do plan on playing through Dishonored 2 and The Last Guardian. I’m also interested in grabbing XCOM 2 and a few other games before the year is out, but I still need to work through my backlog first before I feel comfortable adding more games to the collection.

That’s all for me this week. Tune in next week for another Week in Review where we’ll begin to reveal a few of the articles we’re currently working on.
